rate Charting System: EPIC Required Experience & Skills: - 2 years
of L&D experience - Must have recent EPIC use (within past 2
years) - Must be able to: - Perform vaginal exams - Place scalp
electrodes - Circulate C-sections - Assist with newborn transitions
- Start IVs, draw blood - Assign APGARs - Manage postpartum
hemorrhage - Administer magnesium, Pitocin, insulin, and blood -
Preferred: Spanish speaking, knowledge of Spinning Babies
techniques Certifications (Required): - BLS (AHA) - NRP - AWHONN
Intermediate or Advanced Scheduling & Requirements: - Schedule:
6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (Nights) - Weekends: 3 weekend shifts in a 4-week
schedule - Holidays: 2 out of 3 (eve/day of), mandatory - Floating:
Yes — may float to NICU, Peds, Women’s, MedSurg, ICU (with
appropriate patient load), RDU, Antepartum - Low Census On-Call:
Yes - Orientation: 1 day NEO, 1 day EPIC/Clinical Ed, 1
